Well the past few days haven't been wonderful. Here's my short list of complaints, and then I promise I'll get my positive mindset back
1) CT is out of town, I miss him. 2) Actually threw up on Sunday, out of nowhere! But as soon as it was over, I felt tremendously better, haha. 3) New job prospect fell through. 4) Today's the first day I caved and wore work pants, unbuttoned, with a rubber band holding it together, and a long shirt.
Onto the positives: I've been run/walking with Penny after work this week. We go for approx 2 miles. I want to keep this up - it makes me feel more in shape and less bulgy. Fall TV is back! So I have a whole DVR of shows recorded. I like that I can get through a 2 hr Biggest Loser in approx 45 min.
I'm going up to MN for a visit on Friday since CT is still out of town and I could use a break and a visit. I hope to see Grandma and Grandpa and tell them the news! This little baby is a first for a lot of people! I think we're going to tell friends and others about it 2 weeks or so. Once we've successfully wrapped up the 1st Trimester.
Fun baby fact: At 11 weeks, the baby moves about 30% of the time. Lungs are practicing, fingers wiggle, other organs go through the motions. But in a few short weeks the brain says "ok, cool it. you're wearing yourself out" and movements become much less frequent, but nevertheless more coordinated and interesting.
Coming up: Survivor night with the Carlsons tonigh. Trip to MN with Penny Thursday evening. Back on Saturday to pick up CT from the airport and watch the Iowa/Penn State game.
