Last weekend was cold and rainy. I ended up sleeping a lot. I can fall asleep at the drop of a hat these days - which is good and bad. Good when C.T. is tossing & turning and bad when I'm at work trying to get things done. On Saturday we went down to the Alber's to watch the Beaverdale Fest parade. We would have stuck around and wandered around the rest of the festival but the weather was not cooperative. We did get some free candy out of the deal. Penny was good for most of the parade, but really didn't like it when the marching band and Isiserettes came by! She cowered in the Honda with CT. After that I ended up taking a nap and later that night we met up with Joe and Bryce at Buffalo Wild Wings for the Iowa game. Iowa lost. It was a total bummer. C.T. had to go for a walk after it was over (at 1:30am). He does that sometimes. I wonder if he saw any other depressed Hawkeye fans wandering the neighborhood. :)
Sunday was also a snooze day - but I did manage to get a long walk/jog with Penny in the misty rain. That and a good hot meal cooked with my best friend was a nice way to end the day.
